Creative Writing II

Description

This course is for students ages 11 to 13. Students will look in depth at the essentials of storytelling: plot, characterization, and setting. They will be expected to read a novel and to complete writing challenges. In addition to the weekly classes, the instructor will assist students on an individual basis with their own projects.

This is a one-semester course with a second semester option. Students who have completed the first semester have the option of receiving personal tutoring as they meet with the instructor to work one on one on personal projects such as a novel, short stories, etc. for the second semester.
