In this higher-level course students will continue to develop the vocabulary, grammar, and cultural concepts introduced in Spanish I and II, but there will be more in-depth reading and writing. The main objective in this course is for students to acquire a higher level of fluency in Spanish. In addition to typical topics in Spanish, they will explore the Spanish of various academic subject areas, such as art, science, mathematics, and history. The course will be conducted in Spanish. All instructions, exercises, and comments will be presented in Spanish. Students can communicate with the professor in English via email if they have questions.

Duration: Full year
Each week there will be oral practice, reading, and writing to develop Spanish fluency. Students should study and practice for at least twenty minutes every day.
Teacher is available via email. Office hours will be held on Thursdays, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. ET.
Feedback will be provided on assignments, quizzes, and classwork.
Students should have completed Spanish II or have comparable knowledge of Spanish.
